
Tom Sertsis
Tom Sertsis is an accomplished musician and dedicated music educator with a rich background in the Canadian music scene.
With a passion for collaboration he has had the privilege of performing with renowned Juno Award-winning artists, including Madagascar Slim and Donné Roberts. His musical journey also includes recording and performing with Juno-nominated Ndidi Onukwulu and performing with Grammy-nominated David Buchbinder in the ensemble Nomadica. Additionally, he has recorded and performed with the group Two Roads Home and is a proud founding member of Ceol Kids, an initiative dedicated to fundraising for Community Music Schools of Toronto (formerly Regent Park School of Music) which fosters musical development and creativity in young learners.
Tom studied jazz and music education at York University, later completing a Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Windsor. With over 14 years of experience as a music teacher with the Durham District School Board (DDSB), he has dedicated his career to nurturing the musical abilities of students through band, guitar, ukulele, vocal music, hand drumming, and Orff instruments. His commitment to education and the arts continues to inspire the next generation of musicians.





Bryan Williston
Bryan Williston is a lifelong resident of Whitby, and has been involved with music since he was very young.
A retired teacher with Durham District School Board, Bryan taught primary and junior-level music for 28 years, focusing on vocal, recorder and ukulele instruction.
Bryan is a veteran singer, songwriter and guitarist, who has performed solo, and with various musical groups in Durham over the years. He is a former member of the folk duo Two Roads Home, who released two independent albums in 2003 and 2007. Bryan currently performs, writes and records with the acoustic outfit Local Honey, and the family sing-along duo Socks & Sandals. For twelve years, Bryan has been a member of the Ceol Kids band, a charity initiative and concert event which supports Community Music Schools of Toronto.
Music has been a major part of Bryan’s life, and he is keen to work with a new generation of guitar students.
